27.09.2013

Chinese state was interested in investing in the construction of "Black Sea" highway, said the chairman of the board of the National Company "Strategic Infrastructure Projects" Asen Antonov during a conference in Varna, dedicated to OP "Transport and transport infrastructure for 2014 - 2020". He said that at this stage the intention of China will develop for a number of features of national and European legislation.

Highlights of these obstacles are that the Chinese want their company to build the facility. And, as we know, this is against the Bulgarian and EU standards, which require tendering.

China would provide funding for the project under state guarantees on the Bulgarian side. The means that Beijing is willing to invest is credit line of $ 100 billion in Central and Eastern Europe.

Experts estimate that the car tax on the facility should be around 20 levs for a car.

According to Antonov , the project is worth about 500 million levs for the construction of a section with a length of about 90 miles. Earlier at the conference , it became clear that the funds for the construction of the highway , which is supposed to connect our two major ports of Burgas and Varna, European funds are likely to have no or very scarce .

Recall that interest in the project, which in its full size should connect the Romanian port of Constanta to Istanbul were shown by Qatar.
