Kazakhstan: Karaganda region will present over 800 tons of products at the agricultural fair in Astana
The annual agricultural fair will continue on September 28-29 on the central square of Astana in front of the capital akimat, and Karaganda region will present its production there. This was reported in the capital Administration of business and industry.
It’s expected that Karaganda region will present over 839 tons of agricultural products for the sum of 150 mln tenge. Production of this region will be presented at the fair: meat (about 65,5 tons), fish (about 9 tons), dairy products (about 17,5 tons), eggs (about 500 thousand), potato (about 450 tons), vegetables (about 250 tons), sausage goods (about 8 tons) and other products (about 39 tons).
Besides, the prices will be 10-20% lower than market prices, and 10-65% lower than retail prices. The fair will spread in 83 trade tents and will be accompanied by a festive program. National cuisine and treats will be presented for residents and guests of the capital, and an ethno-aul will be built.
Recall, that such agricultural fairs with products brought from different regions of Kazakhstan are traditional, and they’ve been held for several years. Products are realized for prices which are lower than average costs established at Astana markets. In addition to foodstuff, folk arts and crafts are presented at these fairs.
