Kazakhstan: The country has launched a number of large dairy farms for industrial use
In order to provide population with high-quality fresh natural milk for the past few years, the country has launched a number of large dairy farms for industrial use. Through "KazAgroFinance" within the investment direction called "Creating a network and development of existing dairy farms" 16 major economies have already been funded and commissioned. For the period 2007 - 2013 through the agricultural company to the country were delivered more than 7,000 elite breeds of dairy cattle.
In 2013 it is planned to put into operation seven projects of dairy farms in the amount of KZT 8.1 billion (tenge).
"To one of the dairy farms, the launch of which is planned for 2013, were transported by air shipment cows of Holstein-Friesian breed. 191 heads of cattle from the United States arrived in the village of Lesnoye, Fedorovsk region of Kostanai oblast, to a dairy farm called "Bek+". These are the first and foremost cows, delivered via "KazAgroFinance" for Kazakhstan's economy, and 425 heads of cattle from the United States will be delivered in the near future via maritime transport. In total, in the framework of this project there will be a lease of 1,200 head of breeding cattle. Running this dairy farm will let receive more than 8 million tons of dairy products a year, " says the agricultural company.
"Bek+ ' LLP is the third largest project of dairy farm in Kostanai region. With the support of "KazAgroFinance" here have before been implemented projects of dairy farms - "Sadchikovskoe" LLP and "Saryagash" LLP for a total of KZT 1, 8 billion.
