Russia: Rusmoloko intends to invest a total of 8 bln rubles

Penza region-based dairy company Russian Milk Company (Rusmoloko) intends to invest a total of 8 bln rubles in building a milk complex in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The new enterprise is estimated to produce 105 thousand tons of milk per year; its construction is set to be finished in two years.

The company plans to sell the produced milk to the local processors and to rent 30-35 ha of land for feed production.

Bashkortostan is known for high level of local government support of dairy sector development.

Dairy producers get 1.74 rubles per liter of milk and 40% compensation of capital cost.
