Rosselkhoznadzor limits Ukrainian meat supply
Rosselkhoznadzor (Russia's Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Oversight Service) temporarily limited supply of meat products from PJSC Konotopmyaso and introduced enhanced control over products of LLC Tavria-Plus.
Rosselkhoznadzor has informed about this on Friday.
“Laboratory studies in the enhanced laboratory control mode of chilled beef that came from PJSC Konotopmyaso re-discovered mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic bacteria, and therefore Rosselkhoznadzor had to introduce temporary restrictions on the supply of products from this company," a statement reads.
JSC Konotopmyaso products are under Rosselhoznadzor's enhanced laboratory control since August 2.
At the same time, Rosselhoznadzor reported introduction of increased laboratory monitoring of Ukrainian meat products of company LLC Tavria-Plus. According to the service, in laboratory studies using monitoring frozen beef that came from the company Escherichia coli and mesophilis aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms were found."
"It was resolved to notify the Veterinary Service of Ukraine on the inadmissibility of such violations and to impose the regime of enhanced laboratory control over products of this company (LLC Tavria-Plus - Ed.)," the service stated.
