Ukraine: Ukraine seized 4.5 tons of dangerous animal products

During the last week State Veterinary Service and Veterinary Police workers checked 251 companies that provide circulation of animal products. Due to the violations, 4.5 tons of dangerous animal products were seized.
Ukraine is taking measures to control circulation of animal products. Thus, mobile teams of State Veterinary Service and Veterinary Police workers checked 251 enterprises.
In general, during the inspections it was found 4.5 tons of animal products, the quality of which was not confirmed by appropriate documents. Therefore, these low-quality products were seized. Moreover, it was charged penalties to the sum of 20.000 UAH.
