Bulgarian tobacco growers are planning protests for January due to a delay in the purchase of their production.

The mayor of Nedelino, Stoyan Beshirov warned that tension is running high and tobacco growers can take to the streets anytime. Beshirov has been trying to calm them by promising to speak to the Agriculture Minister.
