Ukraine: Exports of Ukrainian poultry products will be available from July 24

Exports of Ukrainian poultry products will be available from July 24, when the list of eligible companies, approved by the European Commission, enters into force, the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine (SVPS) said in a statement Thursday.

"The updated list of facilities that are eligible to export poultry products to the EU takes effect 23.07.2013. I.e. actually the exports of Ukrainian poultry products is possible from July 24, 2013," reads the report.

The SVPS noted that obtaining by Ukrainian enterprises of permits for export of food products of animal origin is an extremely important event. For the first time our producers have the ability to supply to European consumers not only raw materials, but ready-to-eat food.
