The planned limitation on the exports of Ukrainian wheat is the direct result of the signed Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and grain traders, and the coordination of common actions on the grain market, announced Vladimir Klimenko, President of Ukrainian Grain Association in the comments to APK-Inform Agency on the statement of Nikolai Prysyazhnyuk, Minister of Agrarian Policy, concerning imposition of the limitations on wheat exports from Ukraine since November 15, 2012.

The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine operates strictly within frames of the Memorandum, which he signed. Taking into account the daily rates of exports, on November 15 Ukraine will export nearly 5-5.3 mln tonnes of wheat, which will enable the free port elevator capacities for maize, said the President of Ukrainian Grain Association.

According to V.Klimenko, the ban on wheat exports should be legally formalized, in order to avoid infringement of the agreements, reached between the parties entered into the Memorandum.
