Number of slaughtered chicken was 87 million units and number of slaughtered turkey was 294 thousand units

Number of slaughtered chicken increased 7.5% in March when compared to the previous month and increased 2.8% when compared to same month of the previous year. Number of slaughtered turkey increased 26.2% when compared to the previous month and decreased 9.7% when compared to the same month of the previous year.

Chicken meat production was 141 032 tonnes, turkey meat production was 2 727 tonnes

Chicken meat production increased 10.2% in March when compared to the previous month and increased 0.1% when compared to same month of the previous years. Turkey meat production increased 30.9% when compared to the previous month and decreased 10.5% when compared to the same month of the previous year.
