Mulching is now actively underway in 11 regions of the country. According to the operative data of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, at the beginning of the week Kazakh farmers covered 8 million 503.5 thousand hectares with field works.
A plan of moisture preserving is already completed in eight areas. Total, this year it is planned to cover 6 million 254.8 thousand hectares with field works.
According to farmers, after abnormal drought winter of 2012-2013 MY pleased them with high snow cover. Available moisture content in the soil will be enough not only for the period of sowing, but until the tillering shoots, convinced peasants.
We remind, the mass sowing campaign in Kazakhstan is in full swing. On May 6, in the country 530.6 thousand hectares are planted with spring grain crops and 336 - with oilseeds.
