Bulgaria: Mouldy tobacco burnt in front of Bulgaria’s AgriMin as mark of protest

Citizen’s Control Association set a string of mouldy tobacco leaves on fire in front of the head office of the Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture and Food as a mark of solidarity towards the protesting tobacco producers in Bulgaria and of protest against the late tobacco purchase campaign.

Angel Slavchev, chairperson of the association: “Around 20-30 people joined our symbolic action. We expressed support to the protest of the tobacco producers,” Slavchev added.
